Lehighton Fireworks - Come out on the 4th of July and view the only community public firework display in Carbon County! Our award winning fireworks will start at 𝟵:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠. (𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲!) Best viewing area is Sgt. Stanley Hoffman Boulevard. There are other great spots all around Lehighton to watch this amazing fireworks show put on by Shooting Star Fireworks! Please note during the show you might encounter different traffic patterns.

Our 1942 Lehigh Valley Caboose was one of the first all steel outside skins to be built. It ran on the rails as a Lehigh Valley Caboose and a ConRail Caboose, then was repurposed as a Lehigh Valley Caboose until it retired in 1983. Lehighton was a huge train town having two different stations. In 1961 the passenger trains stopped running after 106 years. During the transformation of Lehighton, the train station was demolished in 1972. We would like to bring the history of the rails back to Lehighton with a caboose that more than likely ran on the Lehighton tracks. Repairs and refurbishment to bring the caboose to its original state will take funds. We are hoping you would be so kind to help contribute to these funds during 2025. We are also holding many events and fundraisers to help create a place where people can visit, learn the history of the rails, while sitting and relaxing in a renovated park area.
